Genigigel Review

Genigigel

I can’t really say there are any “perks” to having an ongoing health condition. However, one of the “perks” of being a blogger with an ongoing health condition is that I often get to try things that are really helpful to my symptoms, like Genigel. Unfortunately being anaemic and having a b12 deficiency means that I experience quite a number of symptoms that really affect my day to day life. Recently, I have been having vitamin iv’s which help a lot, but there are still some symptoms I experience. But I was keen to try Genigigel as I do suffer from mouth ulcers and bleeding gums due to my lack of b12.

What is Genigigel?

Gengigel is the first completely natural topically applied oral product to help control the host response to manage all sorts of intra-oral inflammatory and painful conditions, as well as patients with periodontal disease that demonstrate poor healing after treatment (taken from Genigigel’s website). They have a range of products, and after receiving them in the post last week I tried the Genigigel mouth rinse and the oral spray. They also do other products like standard gel. As well as helping with bleeding gums and ulcers, the products can also help with things like food burns. Believe me, the oral spray will be being kept when my gums clear up for the next time I burn the roof of my mouth on pizza because I am too greedy to wait for it to cool down.

Did Genigigel work?

I used the mouth rinse instead of my usual mouth wash for a few days and I used the oral spray as directed 3 – 4 times a day. Since I’ve been anaemic I have had a continuous ulcer on the bottom of my tongue. I’m not going to take before and after pictures because it is a bit gross, but after a couple of days the ulcer more or less disappeared. I also found that after about four days my gums didn’t bleed when i was brushing my teeth. To be honest if it is just a case of using the mouth rinse instead of my usual mouth wash I will use it until I manage to get my b12 levels back up to normal. Realistically it isn’t as if the treatment is in any way invasive to your life, so it is worth keeping up as a preventative.
