Fashiola.co.uk – A Jacket For Every Jaunt
We are a nation of holiday lovers. Possibly it’s because of the shocking weather we get in the UK, or maybe it’s because the recession is finally coming to a end. With January being the most common month for people booking holidays, it’s no wonder people going on small, beginning of the year jaunts is becoming more popular. Not wanting to wait all the way until August for a trip away in the sun, more and more people are booking post Christmas February/March time long weekends away. Although your destination may not be boiling hot swim in the sea weather, it’s still going to be warmer than the UK. Personally, I am going to Marbella in February, so I have been thinking long and hard about what sort of jacket I will need to take along for the winter evenings.
www.Fashiola.co.uk do a great range of jackets that are classy enough to be taken on that little spring jaunt you have planned. Here’s a jacket from their selection that I think suits each destination.
Marbella, Spain – average low 9 degrees – Boucle Boyfriend Coat
Marbella in Spain is a popular summer holiday destination with the TOWIE cast, footballers, and just in general, the rich elite. May bank holiday is known as the main ‘party’ weekend and celebrates the opening of the season. With it’s beautiful harbor, and stunning mountains, Marbella is also a great place to go for a long weekend, as it’s not too far away. Not only will it be cheaper, but a long weekend in Marbs in February/March time will be a lot quieter, and could be just the relaxing beautiful break you need.

One thing you need to remember for those winter nights is that it WILL get a bit chilly when you are sitting on the balcony having a relaxing glass of red. The Boucle Boyfriend Coat (Which can be found on Fashiola’s coats and jackets section on http://www.fashiola.co.uk) perfect for wrapping yourself up and still looking fashionable.
This warm coat will be great to ward off that chill on late night walks along the harbor or beach. Matched with a pair of well fitting jeans and classic black heels, this jacket will make you fit in with the ‘in’ crowd of wealthy ex-pats that inhabit Marbella during low season.
Santorini, Greece – average low 11 degrees – Vero Moda Belted Trench
Santorini, Greece is another playground of the rich and famous that you can visit out of season for a nice laid back break. Although not a lot of ‘touristy’ things will be open, you can be sure the small, local tavernas will still be open. Lots of hotels are catching on to the out of season break, so you will probably be able to get a great deal all inclusive in the busiest town, Fira.

So if you are taking dinner or drinks on a little cliff side restaurant, you will need a decent trench to take off that sea breeze and evening cold. Although not COLD col, a lightweight jacket like the Vera Moda Belted Trench will keep you looking fabulous and warm. You can browse Fashiola’s coats and jackets selection: http://www.fashiola.co.uk/women/clothing/jackets-coats/ for the belted trench. Or even a similar one that tickles your fancy. Personally I think the trench would look lovely with a skater skirt and some espadrilles.
Cannes – Average low 6 degrees – Quilted Jacket
With the temperature in the South of France dipping lower than it’s counterparts further south, this quilted jacket will keep you wrapped up. Cannes is not only known for it’s film festival, but also as a holiday destination and resort for the rich to show off their yachts. Cannes is very close, so an ideal destination to ‘pop to’ for a long weekend.

If you are planning to walk around and take in some sights of this beautiful place, this quilted jacket will keep you warm when the weather turns and also comfortable as well. If you do not fancy this colour or style, Fashiola have SO many choices for coats and jackets it’s unreal.
Not only do the shopping website stock all of your favourite brands, but they also interview bloggers like myself and keep on top of current trends and styles. I have just got myself the Vera Moda Belted trench, so all we need to do now is pray for me that at some point soon I’ll get the weather to wear it, instead of being wrapped head to toe in wool and thermals.
